New City
New City, a young, bold trio founded in the heart of Toronto had one goal in mind with their debut EP; to continue to push their unique sound of today’s electro-pop mixed with 80’s guitar riffs. Their EP reflects where they came from and tells the story of where they are going.
I set out to create a design concept inspired by the band’s dream of moving to Los Angeles. By utilizing collage, I was able to give the design a dream-like perspective of their goal, pulling iconic imagery from LA while integrating authentic imagery from the band. Through EP packaging, single covers, and merch design, I was able to make the band’s dream into a reality.
